Adopting a family

I was wondering if anyone was opposed to our group using our "extra" money and adopting a couple families for Christmas?  Our church has some families posted on a wall that are not getting adopted b/c they are too large and I thought a group of our size could handle a larger family.  I would be willing to buy, bake and deliver if you all are in approval.  If anyone else is interested in making a dessert or two and/or a couple vegetable side dishes we could work that out too. I can buy everything from Hy-Vee too. Please respond back ASAP so I can contact the church and we can establish an amount and I can get the families called.
